Identity

Identity can be described as the qualities, beliefs, personality, looks and expressions that make a person or group. These can be unique to one person or a small group of people, or relate to a much larger group as a whole. It can be something that distinguishes someone from someone else. Things like origin, sexuality, gender, tradition and religion are all aspects that create individuality, and there are many more. Identity can be expressed in how one presents themselves, as well as through art and social performance. There are sub categories to different aspects of identity, and I am interested in exploring identity through exploring unique aspects of cities and their characteristics. I want to see how I can relate city identity to personal identity.
