I am delighted to invite you to attend a pop up exhibition on Friday 17th June for the 2021/2022 GCSE Photography and Textiles cohort. The exhibition runs from 5pm to 6pm in room 3.12. Please bring your parents, so they may sample what you have been able to create this year!
Your work is showing lots of promise Emma - well done!
There are more developments you could do for your first artist by completing some quixk edits e.g. double exposure, hue/saturation, mirroring etc. This will show that you are able to experiment with your work, rather than just trying to create the artist's work with your own images.
You have started to do this really well with the leg images. You could make these into short films if you were able to take images of the legs in different movements. You have been making some real progress with your work Emma - well done! It would be good to log the process of your developments, as I am aware that they take a long time. Get someone to take some pictures of you sewing the images, so that you can show how they are being created, rather than just uploading the final outcome.
I am really impressed with your images. You have lots of really interesting found imagery of your family. This makes your work really personal and bespoke.

I can see that you are developing your edits by changing the designs on your subjects and the composition of your images, this is really interesting and shows great progression from your initial ideas. It is also clear from your work how you have been inspired by your artist as it shows clear similarities with Beard's photos. Maybe to improve your work you should use a larger variety of designs on their faces and change more about the photos for your further developments.
