Final Piece
my final piece relates to my artist, Claire Luxton, as they have the same base ideas of the flowers on the cheekbone. however i have decided to change it up a bit, i ditched the plaster with the words and i projected the flowers instead of putting actual ones. my final piece is going to be a picture of this concept in a frame to make it physical. i personally am very excited about my images as it almost has different aspect of all three of my artist which makes it the perfect final piece as it encapsulates and summarizes the whole project.

to make these images i firstly on photoshop used images of single flowers i had taken before and made them into long compositions to fit the cheek. then i put them on a power point slide and connected the projector to the computer to project them onto white fabric. then i got my model to sit on a stool looking to the side. this made it so most of the cheek was visible, so there was more space for the flowers to fit.
Presentation Experimentation
the final presented piece is further developed with sewing and a frame. i will be sewing the outline of the flowers on the model's face which will link my final piece with the work i have already developed for my three artists. this will help my final piece to flow cohesively with the rest of my work. finally i will frame it to let it have that finishing touch and to have the impression of encapsulating the summary of this whole project.

once i had taken the images, i sewed just the outline of the flowers so that it would create a more delicate look. however, i then wanted to add more dimension. i did this by printing the images of the flowers by themselves on tracing paper so there would be no way that it would cover up the stitching and so it wouldn't look bulky. finally i got a black frame, however i did not like it and i wanted everything to stay more bright. to do ths i painted it white. finally i took the picture and curled the tracing paper so you could see the texture and i took out the glass from the frame so it was easier to see this as well.

this is my final piece i really like it as it encapsulates at least one aspect of every artist i have developed in this project, so it's a good summary of this whole journey. i used the stitching like in Peter DeVito and the tracing paper is similar to the work done in Maisie Cousins, finally the positioning of the flowers is inspired by Claire Luxton. even though i didn't manage to capture it well in these images i think that the actual printed image is a statement in the white frame, as it pops out more with the white contrast. hopefully you will realize that when you see it in person.
