When I first think of the word identity, the most prevalent things that come to mind have to do with some form of hiding ones own identity and rather than acceptance of oneself for who they might be, what I first think about is some sort of embarrassment over ones true-self and thus the eventual hiding of your identity through almost a mask veiling your personality. And so the first images that I thought of all included either some sort of gaussian blur on top of peoples faces, or of some sort of swirl around the obvious recognisible features of someone, rendering them unrecognisible afterwards.
